Pussycat Dolls Dominate

Posted Mon Sep 15, 2008 8:53am PDT by Jordan Gracey in The Ten

From '95-'08, the Pussycat Doll brand has grown leaps and bounds.  Who would have ever thought that the burlesque dance troop that held a regular Thursday night slot at LA's hotspot "The Viper Room" would evolve into a wildly successful international pop group?  Well, other than the group's creator Robin Antin.

With the release of second album "Doll Domination" around the corner, group member Jessica Sutta (who has been in the group longer than front woman Nicole Scherzinger) let us ask ten very important questions.

When you were younger, was this exactly what you wanted when you grew up?
I wanted to be the first woman president so I could change the world!

You guys have toured and performed for fans all over the world, what are some of your favourite tour stops and which fans are most intense?
One of my favorite places is London. The fans have loved us from the very start and we love them too!

Do you guys have a favourite PCD song to perform?
I really love performing "When I grow up" and the old school portion of the show.

How do you think that you have evolved as a group from the release of PCD to now with Doll Domination?
We've grown up, traveled the world and have become the women that we are today. We are closer than ever, like sisters.

What does Doll Domination mean to you?

Doll domination represents that dreams do come true with hard work and persistence.

When you’re out touring, do you take tokens to remind you of home with you? If so, what?
I have a picture of my doggie daughter Starr lit Sutta! I miss her so much on the road. And if I'm on a bus I make sure my bunk has pink soft sheets. Everything has to be girly because I'm a girl!!

Who would win in a dance-off, you guys or Girlicious?
Hands DOWN The Pussycat Dolls.

If you could add some PCD influence to any artists song, whose would it be and why?
Lil Wayne because it would fun to perform live with him. He's a very entertaining performer and one of the best rappers out there.

What hot/new female artist would you say has that PCD sass and appeal?
Duffy. She's adorable.

You seem to have a ton of confidence and self-esteem. Do you have any esteem pointers for your fans?
Just don't ever give up and be your biggest fan. Don't forget to love yourself because no one can love you the way YOU can love you. :)

If you're a fan of PCD, note that their new album Doll Domination is set for release September 23rd!!

So, I keep looking at all the girls and there seems to be one missing. Where is the girl that won the PCD reality show? All that and now she's not seen? So does anyone know the answer?
