Clarkson Plays Dressup: Happy Kellyween!

Posted Mon Nov 2, 2009 11:55am PST by Lyndsey Parker in Reality Rocks

I wish that--to loosely paraphrase a Ministry song, which (trust me) is a first for this column--every day could be Halloween. People hand out candy, men dress up like women and women dress up like floozies without fear of reprisal, and American Idols put on concerts dressed like Stewie from Family Guy.

As if there were any more reason to adore Kelly Clarkson, this past Halloween at her St. Charles, Missouri concert, she and her bandmates hit the stage in full costume zombie-dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me," then Kelly sang the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" dressed as the animated Griffin family's famously cranky baby:

I'm going to dress up as Kelly Clarkson next Halloween. I'm just going to wear a sandwich board with the big block letters "MOST AWESOME GIRL EVER" printed on it. That should get the point across.

I love Kelly also. She's so down to earth and this girl can sing! Her voice is great even when she sings live. That's when you know a person can actually sing. Keep up the good work Kelly!

Fabulous costumes? ANYONE can rent them. What a bunch of baffoons pretending to be musicians. Now THOSE are great costumes in themselves! Does she write her own lyrics now?

What a great way to start a concert on Halloween! I like her
music but her performance kudos just went WAY UP! Nice
to see a performer take chances and go out to really entertain
an audience!

I'm so sorry that you feel that Kelly is fat. However, everyone can't be mentally challenge to the point where they're Anorexic and Bulimic. I do realize that over eating is un-healthy as well. But Kelly is not fat! Also, Kelly is making her money sweetie. Do you think she actually cares that you think she's fat! Kelly rock on with your bad self! And nballi0714, stop hating!

ugh, really?? since when is someone's body mass index directly proportionate to their talent... she's not trying to give the world a boner, just give us an alternative to the bombardment of talentless Barbie types...

That was a good show! Kelly rocks, and to all the haters on here saying how fat she is, I bet your one of those losers who are FAT and can't stick to a diet. So you hide behind your computer and talk about someone eles. Yeah that doesn't make you any less fat. so STFU! CHECKED
