Sisely: From Pussycat Doll To Shiny Toy Gun

Posted Sat Jan 31, 2009 1:55pm PST by Lyndsey Parker in Reality Rocks
Hey kids. Check out this video below and let me know if the sassy chick singer looks at all familiar to you:

No? Well, does this clip jog your memory at all? Pay special attention to the redhead in the stripey top:

Or the center girl here:

Yep, that's right: Sisley Treasure, from the short-lived and ill-fated Search For The Next Pussycat Doll TV talent show, is the new lead singer of electro-rock indie band Shiny Toy Guns.

This seems to be a far better showcase for Sisely's rock style than PCD. After all, pretty much as soon as The Search For The Next Pussycat Doll was over, Sisely went back to singing the rock music she was accustomed to (even collaborating with Blondie's Clem Burke for a short time), while the actual winner of Search For The Next Pussycat Doll, Asia, didn't even stay in the official PCD lineup for more than like five minutes anyway.

(Read more on what Sisely and Asia got up to post-show in this other blog.)

This Shiny Toy Guns video is pretty cool, so it looks like Sisely is the real winner here.

She isn't quite as talented as Shiny toy Guns' original female vocalist, but glad to see she was able to move on to better things

i was amazed when i found out that shiny toy guns was getting rid of carah faye, but i have to give props to sisley!! shes very talented! i think that the electronica scene is going to do her well.
