Britney Spears: Could It Be True?

Posted Mon Oct 6, 2008 1:39pm PDT by Jordan Gracey in Reality Bites

The last few months, Britney has been getting her s*#t together thanks to the once absent papa Spears.  Daddy dearest arrived on the scene after all that Adnan nonsense and grabbed the bull by the horns.  Brit’s assets were frozen which meant that her crazy spending and random “vacations” came to a halt.  Her late night partying was no more and her career, put back on track.  While it was reported that Brit didn’t accept this intervention at the beginning, it seems that she was able to wake up and smell the RedBull.  The results, we’re getting our Britney back!

Could it be true?  Is Britney really coming back?

Yes, she is and no, it won’t be the comeback that was promised to us prior to her “performance” at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.  This will be the real deal!

How can I be so sure?  I can feel it!  Plus, Yahoo! Music Canada has some insider info that we are willing to share!

At the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, Spears won a moon man for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for Piece of Me.

If we compare this showing against the nightmare that was the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, the change is quite clear.

Following this mega victory, her label, Jive, announced on September 15th that Britney will release her sixth studio album Circus on December 2nd (her birthday).  It has also been reported that Britney is working on the video for the first single “Womanizer” as we speak!  This ladies and gents is a photo (from the actual video shoot) that should act as proof that can only be found here!

We all know that the last few years of the not so personal and private life of the pop star has been rocky, to say the least, but hey, we all have our ups and down right?  We should just count our lucky stars that our life bloopers aren’t broadcasted to millions of people across the world!  Having embarrassing photos tagged on Facebook is bad enough am I right?

I suggest we stop circulating the photos of the bad shave, the umbrella bashing, the stage fright performance and the other hideous paparazzi shots and support Brit as she takes her place back in the spotlight.

Do you think Britney is really coming back or is she too far gone?

Mz Britney needs to pick up a guitar or a piano and get back to the ecsence of her songs! Of that was ever there in the first place. To see Brit doing a blues tune with any of the greats ... BB King, Sheryl Crow, etc would put the real stuff back inot it!!!

Go Mommy

Oh really??? She is all about "Look at me, look at me, look at me....!!!" Really she needs to give herself a break and go somewhere to get better not in having to be in needing for attention all the time. She is NOT better, she is getting worse. She has damaged her reputation, name, etc., so if it is a so-called comeback, so what, it will be for a few minutes or 15 minutes and then nothing. She is down spiral, keeping going down unless she goes to a rehab clinic and STAY there the full 30 days or longer NOT a few days or a few hours!! She needs more than 30 days to get better. Duh!!!!

A new album? I didn't know that she could actually sing. She's had her chance - time to make room for some new talent. Not that I'm implying Brit has any. In any case, there's no cure for "I-can't-handle-fame" syndrome.

Britney has not had a normal childhood. She was not guided properly by her parents due to them having their own problems. Also they neglected their duties as parents, others took care of her. Unfortunately, they only wanted her money. She has been sucessful, now she has had her struggles. The only difference is everybody knows about her. She will be better, more determined and more wiser. She is coping with being a single mother and also a demanding career. Her idol has been Madonna, when you look at their lives. Ther are many similiraties. The main difference, Madonna was allowed to be a child. Britney has not. She will gether inner strength and be more selective with her friends. Later on, she will be more guarded in her private life. She will meet a descent man, she needs to love and respect herself. Her priority is her children and her well being. Good luck.

Maybe now she is mature enough to create some music of value. She has a lot of talent and now just has to focus it in the right direction. I will like to see what she does when she is in her 40's.

She's had it! She had a chance for a comeback and it failed. She can keep trying, but she isn't Madonna and doesn't have the same savvy to bring herself back. At this point, even if her career was back on track, people would crave another meltdown and if they didn't get it, they'd get bored of her and turn to any one of the other Pop-Lets out there.

i think she is reallyready for the new change we just need to help her stay on track go brit.

I dont think she is cool at all nor hot, she is not a good role model at all, my kids will never watch her, she will never be famous like she was, she will never regain her respect anymore, she needs to cover up and be respectful

Ok….
I am sure that I will most definitely get bashed for what I am about to say by all the “die-hard” Britney fans out there. However, I can in all honesty say that I am NOT a Britney hater just a realist.
In reality, if I had a daughter, I would never allow my kid to be in any way affiliated with Britney Spears. I in no way believe that Britney is a positive influence on little girls like she believes that she is. I get it she has an amazing body, but really is her voice worth allll the money that she is making? Shouldn’t all this “props be going” to the singers who actually HAVE a talent? Seriously you really thinks that a nasally, baby sounding voice is talent? Anyone can pull that off and almost anyone can look good with the sum of money and a personal trainer like Britney most likely has.
Do I think she is making a comeback? Well considering that I read all these comments and noticed that a lot of people seem to have a huge liking for Brit, sure, but I really think the honest question should be “does she deserve a real comeback?” and I think that the answer is no. Why aren’t females like Christina Aguilera or Mandy Moore or even Jennifer Lopez having these issues, they TOOOOO grew up in the spot light and yet they have not showed off their “va-jaja” to the whole world nor have they shaved their head and gave up the right to their children.
Britney has a lot of growing up to do. And I personally think that she needs to take time off and disappear off the radar.

Ha I can see it coming “you are just jealous and you must be fat and ugly” so let me straighten this out now…. I think I’m way hotter then Brit ;) and with a personal trainer, nutritionist, make up artists at my disposal and a s&*t load of money…. Id be the word on the street ;). A person like Britney makes young girls feel like they have to starve themselves or die their hair blonde because that is the image she portrays… she has no education and without this S(*tshow she would have no real future….

Thank you

I hope she makes a come back. I not the biggest fan of her music, but think she had had way to much negitive attention. We all make mistakes in life, hers just get to be public! I really have a soft spot for her and hope she can stick witht he change and make it big again!

78. Puckbunnie24 -
Disgusting. This woman cannot even care for her own children, but is idolized by all.

I think she deserves another chance - yes she went through a really tough time but think of the family she has and the rush to fame and you would be screwed up too !!! Hopefully her and her family have realized their mistakes and she continues her success but on a more mature level - good luck Brit !
