Britney Spears: Could It Be True?

Posted Mon Oct 6, 2008 1:39pm PDT by Jordan Gracey in Reality Bites

The last few months, Britney has been getting her s*#t together thanks to the once absent papa Spears.  Daddy dearest arrived on the scene after all that Adnan nonsense and grabbed the bull by the horns.  Brit’s assets were frozen which meant that her crazy spending and random “vacations” came to a halt.  Her late night partying was no more and her career, put back on track.  While it was reported that Brit didn’t accept this intervention at the beginning, it seems that she was able to wake up and smell the RedBull.  The results, we’re getting our Britney back!

Could it be true?  Is Britney really coming back?

Yes, she is and no, it won’t be the comeback that was promised to us prior to her “performance” at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.  This will be the real deal!

How can I be so sure?  I can feel it!  Plus, Yahoo! Music Canada has some insider info that we are willing to share!

At the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, Spears won a moon man for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for Piece of Me.

If we compare this showing against the nightmare that was the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, the change is quite clear.

Following this mega victory, her label, Jive, announced on September 15th that Britney will release her sixth studio album Circus on December 2nd (her birthday).  It has also been reported that Britney is working on the video for the first single “Womanizer” as we speak!  This ladies and gents is a photo (from the actual video shoot) that should act as proof that can only be found here!

We all know that the last few years of the not so personal and private life of the pop star has been rocky, to say the least, but hey, we all have our ups and down right?  We should just count our lucky stars that our life bloopers aren’t broadcasted to millions of people across the world!  Having embarrassing photos tagged on Facebook is bad enough am I right?

I suggest we stop circulating the photos of the bad shave, the umbrella bashing, the stage fright performance and the other hideous paparazzi shots and support Brit as she takes her place back in the spotlight.

Do you think Britney is really coming back or is she too far gone?

Who is Britney Spears? Does anyone really know? I noticed she was wearing a crucifix on her neck in the video. Sure hope she's wearing it for the right reasons! Is she doing this comeback for the money? Fame? Attention? All wrong reasons. Hopefully, this time round she won't have any Oops! And Do It Again...

Puleeeze...this "comeback" thing, as allusive as they try to make it sound, is something that will come by way of the record companies and media working together and putting her in everyone's faces until everybody thinks she's "come back" even though nobody in the general public gives two schitz. She'll be holding babies for the camera and giving to charities and helping old ladies cross the road, all with cameras snapping to help morons look past the fact that she is out of control. Didn't I hear her dentist denied performing teeth whitening on her newborn??? wtf is with that? So rest assured that this "comeback" is inevitable, so I'm not going to sweat about it. Hey, she won a couple grammys didn't she? For the last sad album with processed vocals and overly defensive lyrical content that was the slump of her overall career? And with cut and paste music videos to make her one hour shoot look like a rehearsed work? Really, the music industry is becoming so very funny.

Britney IS back! She's a real American talent and one lovely young woman. I wish her success in keeping her life and priorities in line...AND...I gotta point out that she's got the greatest legs in show business today!

i don't really know why, but i totally feel that britney is making a strong comeback this time. the music sounds catchy and in her most recent public appearance (i.e. MTV music video awards 2008) she resembles her old self albeit more humble. that's the britney we want! and good for you britney!!!

You people who patronize and support Britney Spears show just how gullible a lot of Americans are. If you'd get off of your couch and realize that greedy bankers and those who run the federal reserve are destroying you with debt ratios that you can't possibly afford and bimbos like Britney Spears are mesmerizing you, you might be in a better position. As it stands, the bankers and prostitutes hold the keys to your cities. Britney Spears is good looking. I would like to give her the palozz. So what, though. She is one of many skanks that a person can go out and get. Dime a dozen. Get over it.

id stick it in her pooper

Haters have said many times that her career was "over".
According to you, it's been over what -- 9 different times now?
Her new single "Womanizer" is number 1 in the US, Canada, Spain and Sweden AS WE SPEAK.

Her video is premiering this FRIDAY on 20/20.
Best believe she is back.

Haters will always be haters, and Britney will always be BRITNEY :)

i'm sure we have all had moments that we could take back.. difference we are not on camera constantly.. i give credit to her dad who has brought her back to reality. hopefully she has grown from this and comes back in full force... i am not necessarily a britney fan but it was sad to see that the media could do this to a young adult... she has to take some of the blame but certainly the media did not help. good luck brit
